Huaaa i miss you so freakin bad :'(

Just had a bad time these days, but it's okay, everything is getting better now, and i'm ready to share a story.

Every story has its good and bad, and in the end it's for our own good.

One thing i know, no matter how good or bad your situation, vacation is always be the good option.

So, last week i went to Sapu Lidi, Bandung.

Backpacker, with my pals.

Tips:

1. Wear outfit yang comfortable (me : jeans, tanktop, jacket, sunglasses)

2. Bawa barang-barang seperlunya

Sesudah semua oke, berangkatlah kita ke Blok M, ada bis tujuan ke Bandung, namanya X-Trans, biaya perorang Rp. 95.000,- Bis AC untuk 10 orang.

Karena kita berangkat hari kerja, jadi no traffic dong :) -+ 2,5 jam, we arrived in bandung.

Oh iya, karena tujuan kita ke Sapu Lidi yang berlokasi di Lembang, kita harus turun di Pasteur.

FYI, bis ini turun di 3 tempat, Pasteur, Cihampelas dan Dago.

Sampai di Pasteur, kita naik angkutan lagi 2 kali, ga terlalu jauh kok, kurang lebih 1km. Hehe..

Sekitar jam 17.20 kita sampai di Sapu Lidi, Bandung..

Ini list harga kamarnya per bulan ini, untungnya pas kita kesana all room discount 40% hehe..

 

Kita akhirnya ambil Suite Room dengan lake view, mau liat viewnya? Here you go..

FYI, kita bisa pilih mau shower atau bathtub, kita akhirnya ambil yang bathtub. Untuk tambahan dan tips, kayanya sih water heater/mesin pemanas airnya lagi kurang bagus, jadi pas air di bathtub cuma semata kaki eh air panasnya abis :(

Singkat cerita, sesudah mandi, kita putuskan untuk makan malem dulu.

Tempat makannya enak deh, banyak saung2 disekitar sawah, recommended, tenang banget.

Dan ini adalah makanan yang kita pesen : Nasi goreng, ayam goreng, tongseng, teh manis hangat, bandrek, jagung bakar, pete, lalapan, pisang goreng keju, bajigur, susu putih hangat. Makan banyak!! 

Setelah kenyang makan, selanjutnya apa? TIDURRR..

Bangun tidur, ini viewnyaaa :) setelah foto-foto kita check out dan jalan-jalan ke cihampelas, beli oeh-oleh :)

Yeah, Cloud Lounge and Living Room is very similar with SKYE, but there are some differences between the two main rooftop bars in Jakarta.

SKYE is a more easy-going and it is more popular with the Indonesian and Indo-Chinese crowd, and the target of Cloud Lounge and Living Room are older crowd, businesse type, and expat, and Cloud also has a cold room for drinking Vodka :)

Without Mom

When Ben Nunery and his wife Ali got married in 2009, they had just closed on their new house, so they took the opportunity to take their wedding photos in the empty home.

Just four and a half years later, after Ali's tragic death from cancer at at the age of 31 in 2011, Ben and his young daughter Olivia got ready to move to a new house, but they wanted to say goodbye to the old one. So they recreated these special photos from Ben and Ali's wedding day, as a way to remember the happy times.

Now and then The images were recreated by Ali's sister Melanie, who had photographed the couple on their wedding day. On the left, Melanie's photo of Ben and his wife Ali in 2009. On the right, Ben and his daughter Olivia, in the same doorway, in Dec. 2013.

Like mother, like daughter As they went through the house, Olivia stopped to play with the curling iron that had been her mother's. Above, a similar photo of her mom Ali getting ready on her wedding day. 

Stairs On the left, Ben stands in their empty house in 2009 as his wife Ali comes down the stairs. On the right, he and daughter Olivia play on the same stairs in 2013. 

Ben wrote about the experience, saying: "Many people have asked me how I felt while doing that photo session. What I want them to know is that this isn't a story about grief and loss and hurt. Yes, I've gone through those emotions and still do but that's not what I want people to see in these photos. This is a story about love." 

Memories "The memories of Ali don't live in that house," Ben wrote of his late wife, Olivia's mother. "They live with us, in our hearts." 

Ben and his wife Ali, left, on their wedding day. He recreated the shot with his daughter, Olivia, in his wife's memory. "Benjamin, you look like a baby!" wrote his photographer sister-in-law, Melanie, on her blog.

Making new memories "We said goodbye to Ali two years ago, but her presence has remained undeniable in the house," Ben wrote of his wife. After taking the series of photographs around their empty house, the father daughter duo said goodbye to it and headed into their new life in a new home. "Our lives will continue down a curvy and uncertain path, but Olivia and I will be able to look at these photos and know that for a short time there was a place where I was the luckiest man in the world, even if just for a little while."

Here's i give you some tips (as a bonus) to have a positive mind:

1. Life is too short, so spend it nicely.

2. No body will hurt you, unless you let them hurt you, by your thoughts.

3. Please, please, please.. Be a positive thinker. Positive mind begins with you.

4. If you have a problem with your family then fix it with your family, stop blaming somebody else for something bad happened in your family, and of course, you don't have to tell the whole world about your problem, not good. Better buy a diary, sometimes it helps.

5. Surround yourself with positive people.

6. Read positive quotes.

7. Remember, negative mind will never give you positife life.

The last one is... My tips! 

8. The less we respond to rude, critical and argumentative people, the more peacefull our life will become. That's why sometimes, not sometimes, mostly i don't respond negative people, so become a positive one, and i will respond you.

Sing-a-poo #Day1

Baloo Buddies. 

Well, like i told you before, so now, i'm gonna tell you the story and share some pictures too.

It's my experience, 3 days 2 nights in Singapore :) yaiyy..

#ThrowBackTime 

Awalnya gue dan temen gue lagi ngopi2 cool di Kope Oey, Blok M, biasalah anak muda, lagi celoteh-celoteh, mulai dari ngebahas orang, kerjaan, sampai akhirnya liburan dan tercetuslah Universal Studio, Singapore.

Sebagai 2 mahluk bumi yang haus akan liburan, langsung detik itu juga kita heboh liat tiket pesawat, hotel, tiket Universal Studio dll.

(Fyi: awalnya kita rencanain untuk pergi berempat, tapi 2 orang lainnya ga bisa ikut)

*A week later (H-1)

Apalagi tugas sebagai mahluk bumi sehari sebelum bepergian? ya PACKING broohhh.. Hehe..

Isi tas gw antara lain:

- Kaos 5 (yang kepake cuma 3)

- Pakaian dalam 6 (kepake semua)

- Bantal (as an Indonesian, ya gue ga bs tidur kalo ga ada guling, jd bantal kepala di hotel bisa di jadiin guling hehe)

- Hair dryer (ga kepake, meskipun hotel biasa ternyata dia ada hair dryer kok)

- Camera + kabel data dan chargeran (WAJIB)

- Parfume

- HP + chargeran

- Lipstick, eyeliner, sunblock.

- nah yang ini paling penting, jangan sampai lupa.. PASSPORT cukk..

- Shampoo, conditioner, lotion (Ini ga kepake, karena lupa tiket pergi ga pake bagasi, dan cabin ga membolehkan kita bawa benda cair lebih dari 100cc, jd dengan berat hati dan keterpaksaan saya mecoba mengikhlaskannya kepada petugas bandara. Bukannya pelit.. Tapi itu Semua The Body Shop baru, dan yang lebih penting itu bukan punya gue, itu semua punya kaka gw yg gw colong pagi2 buta sebelum berangkat.. Tapi untungnya sampe detik ini dia ga sadar semuanya udah lenyap)

- Ini juga penting, jangan lupa tuker duit ke dolar singapore.

*The Day! 

Bangun jam 6, siap2, then cabut ke bandara jam 8.

We arrived at Bandara Soekarno Hatta at 9, check in and bla bla bla, dan pesawatnya terbang pukul 11.45.

And... Around 13.30

We arrived..

What a great Airport! My favorite area is..

Yup! SUNFLOWER GARDEN!!

Kita disana main2 dulu disana selama 1,5 jam, untuk informasi, airportnya enak banget (lebih enak dari Korea), ini lengkap, ada mesin pijit kaki, screen buat nonton tv, area main playstation, komputer buat internetan, dan wifi dimana2, yaaa semua free! Hehe..

Setelah puas muter2, kita menuju kota tempat kita nginep, yaitu Chinatown.

Kita kesana naik MRT, tiket untuk dua orang USS 5, dan harus transit 3 kali, ada petunjuknya kok untuk sampai di Chinatown.

1 lagi, kalau mau beli tiket MRT, usahakan pakai uang pas, kemarin kita bayar pake USS 10, dan mesinnya ga telen uangnya, soalnya ga ada kembalian, tp tenang, disekitar situ banyak bala bantuan kok, jadi kita di bantu sama petugasnya. Hehe.

Setelah pembayaran beres, kita terima kartu ini..

I'M COMING CHINAAAATOOOWNN!!!

Seperti yang gue bilang sebelumnya, awalnya agak bingung karena MRT nya besar, jalan2nya banyak, makanya jangan males2 baca petunjuk atau bertanya.

Beruntung partner vacation saya adalah orang yang pandai, pintar dan gampang diandalkan, jadi semua terkendali. Hehehe.. 

FYI: MRT ini beroprasional 24 hours, dan bisa keliling2 singapore, kalau di Indonesia, kaya Transjakarta Busway, tapi ini lebih bersih, cepat dan ada hampir disemua bagian di Singapore.

Potong cerita, setelat transit di 3 stasiun, sampailah kita di Chinatown! Aah God, i love that place!

1 blok dari Chinatown, ada pusat perbelanjaan, barang2nya murah2 cyiiinnn, karena itu jalan kita lewatin sebelum ke hotel, jadi gue dan temen gue memutuskan untuk lihat2 yang pantas dilihat.

Tapi kita ga kalap langsung beli ini itu, kita cuma beli luggage tag.

USS 10, dapet 4.

Dan bener besoknya kita liat di tempat lain USS 10, dapet 5.

But it's okay lah.. Hehehe..

Terus karena perut udah sangat keroncongan, akhirnya kita memutuskan untuk memberikan kebahagiaan kepada perut2 kita.

Kita pesen nasi ayam hainam, harganya sekitar USS 7.

Untuk saudara2 yang muslim, makanan disana banyak yang mengandung babi, tapi ayam dan bebek juga banyak.

Nah, setelah puas makan 1 blok lagi dari pisat belanja di chinatown, ada hotel, namanya Lulu Hotel, disitu kita bobok. Hoho. Letaknya 2 blok dari MRT di chinatown. Dekat ya? Bingitzz..

Kita beli di tiket dari internet, harga permalam jadi 400rb an kalo dirupiahin..

Untuk masuk kekamar kita harus naik tangga, lumayan tinggi, ya anggap aja pengganti gym (menghibur dikit).

Untuk ukuran kamar, ya super standard sih, dalam kamar cuma ada kasur (yaiyalah masa tiker), ac, meja rias, hairdryer, dan shower area untuk mandi, sedangkan toilet kalau mau poop, itu dikuar kamar, gabung sama yang lain.

Ga usah komen kalau mau murah!! Hahahaha..

Sampai dihotel ngapain?

BEREBUT COLOKAN!!! Mau ngecharge hp, ngecharge camera (batre paa abis buat foto2. Hehe)..

Dan kita baru menyadari kalau colokan disana itu kaki 3.. Oh God! Untungnya pihak hotel menyediakan colokan kaki 3, bisa disewa USS 5, dan uang dikembalikan saat kita kembalikan colokannya, dan kita pinjam 1, Hehehe.

Terus kita beberes, mandi, terus siap2 lagi ke Marina Bay.

Maklum, cuma 3 hari 2 malam, jadi harus dimanfaatkan sebaik2nya.

Kita selesai beberes jam 7 malam waktu Singapore (beda 1 jam sama Idonesia).

Area sekeliling hotel enak bgt! Haaah.

Udah foto2 pemandangan malam hari, kita pergi deh ke Marina Bay, seperti yang udah2, naik MRT lagi hehe..  

Kali ini lebih murah, USS 6, buat 2 orang, pulang pergi.

Kita sampai di Marina Bay Sands, semacam mall gitu.

Udah puas berkeliling mall, kita keluar, dan muter2 disekitar situ, terus naik Singapore River Cruise, dengan USS 22 perorang kita bisa berkeliling area situ, plus dijelasin bangunan2 diarea itu apa2 aja dan sejarahnya, ada show airnya juga.

Ditambah musik pengiring di kapalnya... Aaaaakkkkkk... So romantic!!!

Oh iya sebelum berangkat kita sempet beli beer kaleng, harganya USS 5, jadi nge-beer dikapal sambil menikmati indahnya malam di Singapure.

Ini wajib dinikmati sama couple! Malem2.. Kalo siang panas soalnya.. Hehehe.. (Kurang tau juga sih siang kapalnya oprasional atau engga.. Hehe)

Ah God, if i could turn back time.

Setelah puas, kita balik lagi ke Chinatown, sebelum bobok, kita muter2, ke Sri Mariamman Temple (deket dari hotel juga)

Setelah puas muter2 lagi, kita kembali membahagiakan perut kita.

Dikarenakan kita adalah ahli hisap, dan seharian tak menghisap, maka kitapun mencari restaurant yang bisa menghisap rokok, kurang tau namanya karena tulisannya huruf begitu, tapi letaknya di pojokan, pelayannya baiiikkk banget.

Kali ini menunya babi, dan foto diatas ini adalah babi yang kekenyangan makan babi. Haha.

Setelah kenyang kita beli air mineral dulu, untuk info, hotel itu ga menyediakan air mineral, untuk 1 botol kecil dikenakan biaya USS 2 (yang kalau di Indinesia udah bisa dapat 1 galon, masih kembalian lagi. Haha)

Yaa.. Demikian hari pertama di Singapore!

Menyenangkan juga melelahkan.

Ada juga yang menyebalkan serta ngangenin, nyokap selalu minta dikabari dan dikirim foto hampir setiap saat.. Well, still, I'm a mommy's little girl.

Me : *cuci muka, gosok gigi, selimutan*.

Partner : pinjemin colokan dong ke receptionist!

Me : aaah pinjem aja sendiri...

Partner : pinjemin dong..

Me : lagian daritadi ditawarin ga mau..

Partner : pinjemin dong..

Me : aaaaaahh ngantuuuukkk...

Partner : pinjemin dong..

Me : aaaah... Ngantuuuukkk..

Partner : ayo pinjemin *tarik tangan*

Ya kurang lebih kejadian diatas jg menyebalkan. Dengan terkantuk2, gue ke receptionist (turun naik tangga) untuk pinjem colokan kaki 3.. Haha...
