I was born in Indonesia, I live and grow up in this country..

I'm not a Jakartan. My mom is an Ambonese, and my father is a Bugis.

But we live, grow up, work and met people we love in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jakarta is a capital city. A metropolitan. A business center in Indonesia. A city with traffic and pollution.

You can find everything in this city, from good things to bad things. From the cheapest thingy to the expensive ones. EVERYTHING!!

You can find so many people here, from Sabang to Merauke. With so many cultures, religions, language and many more.

That's why I'm proud to be an Indonesian, a Jakartan, even I'm not a Jakartan/Betawi.

Funny Things Happened In The Office

*I'm laughing while typing this story...*


This is a story about my friend called Wanna (21).
This morning before wanna started her job, she touched up her face.
Then, there's a man came to her, named.... No i won't tell you his name, just initial, called F (our partner, but different division, almost 40)  walked across her, when he saw wanna, he made a joke for wanna, he pretended to be like wanna... Hahahaha...
But just it.. No more.....
He's like a father for us. Really.


*40 minutes later*
There's something wrong in her head..
She never send a message to F or another men in my office first, except if there's a job to talk about before.
But today, she feels different, so without any permission she sent a bbm to F.. :


W : Pagi :)
F : Pagi.
W : Eyke cantik ga pagi ini?
F : Yup

*5 minutes later*
F: Maunya?
W : Ape?


Wanna feels awkward, F never too 'kaku' like this....
Then in the end we know, that F left his bb in his house.. GLEK???!!!
So who's a person who replied her chat?
Yup!! Absolutely..... HIs wife!!
Then his wife sent wanna bbm use F's bb:


F's Wife : Ini istrinya, apa maksudnya tanya ke suami orang eyke udah cantik belum pagi ini?
hey jawab!
jawaaaaab!
W : Maaf, saya cuma bercanda, karena pa F orangnya humoris, jadi saya dan teman2 kantor suka bercanda dengan dia.
F's Wife : Iya, tapi ga pantes ya kamu bercanda seperti itu ke suami orang!!


Wanna didn't reply her message, then we saw F changed his status on his bb twice (until now)
1. Itu bukan bercanda namanya!! Itu kecentilan..
2. I'll be watching


HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... 


Ok, lesson learned for today is "Do not ever send a flirty-joke-message to a married man, unless you know he brings his phone"

Foto Fenomenal karya Kevin Carter (Kelaparan Sudan 1993)

Foto karya Kevin Carter, yang diambil di Sudan pada tahun 1993.
Pada awalnya Kevin Carter berangkat ke Sudan dengan maksud ingin mengambil foto pemberontakan yang terjadi di sana, tetapi ditengan jalan, Kevin Carter menemukan seorang anak perempuan kelaparan merangkak lemah menuju pusat pembagian makanan.
Ditengah pengambilan foto tersebut berlangsung datanglah seekor burung pemakan bangkai datang, seolah menunggu makanannya.

Akhirnya foto tersebut dimuat di koran New York Times dan mendapatkan penghargaan Pulitzer (Penghargaan yang dianggap tertinggi didalam bidang jurnalisme catak di Amerika Srikat) meskipun dihujani banyak kontroversi.

Kevin Carter beralasan, dia telah mencoba mengusir burung tersebut sesudah dia mengambil foto tersebut, tetapi dia tidak menolong anak tersebut, dengan alasan konvensi fotografer yang tidak boleh ikut campur dalam konflik.

Pada tahun 1994, Kevin Carter ditemukan tewas bunuh diri didalam mobilnya dengan cara mengalirkan gas CO dari knalpot mobilnya kedalam mobilnya, dan meninggalkan catatan:

"I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners ... I have gone to join Ken, if I am that lucky."

I miss the time when I visited Nhui's house then found her  lappy is full of the new games, i can play for hours in her bedroom..

I miss the time when I visited Yussy's kosan then found packs of abon in her room and called it 'Abon Party'..

I miss the time when my friends and I found something silly about Rani Tamzil then made is as jokes..

I miss the times when Liana acted like a porn star with her big body..

I miss the time when Rani Oval and i went to campus together then talk about super dongo things..

I miss the time when on friendship night, Puti Sarah and I searched dresses together. And sent pictures each other..

And another sweet memories...
